Our Sincere Appreciation to the Trincomalee District Hotel Association (TDHA)

On behalf of PA&Mills – Sawbagyam, one of the local manufacturing companies in Trincomalee, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Trincomalee District Hotel Association (TDHA) for inviting us to participate in the prestigious event held on 9 July 2026 at Trincomalee Beach Resort & Spa under the theme "Building Strategic Partnerships for the Future."

On a pleasant evening, accompanied by the refreshing breeze from the Bay of Bengal and complemented by excellent hospitality, the event offered much more than fine cuisine. It provided a valuable platform to discuss the future of Trincomalee's tourism industry and the importance of building strong international partnerships. Equally inspiring was the vision presented by Mr. Kumar Jeyakumaran, President of the Trincomalee District Hotel Association (TDHA), which emphasized not only strengthening international tourism collaborations but also integrating Sri Lankan products into the tourism sector and expanding their reach into global export markets.

It was also encouraging to see a dedicated exhibition showcasing the products of local manufacturers, providing well-deserved recognition to the district's entrepreneurs and producers.

The vision of developing Trincomalee's tourism industry through the collaboration of local manufacturers, traditional industries, communities, and businesses is both progressive and inspiring. The theme of the event reflects a long-term dream for the district's development over the coming decades.

வெப்பத்தைத் தணித்துக் கொண்டிருந்த வங்கக் கடற்காற்றின் தழுவலில், இனிய அற்புதமான மாலை வேளையில் பகிரப்பட்டிருந்த சுவையான உணவுகளைத் தாண்டி, திருக்கோணமலையின் சுற்றுலாத்துறையின் வளர்ச்சியுடன் இணைந்து, திருக்கோணமலை மாவட்டம் சர்வதேச நாடுகளின் சுற்றுலாத்துறையுடன் கைகோர்ப்பதும், அதனோடு இணைந்து நமது தேச உற்பத்திகளை சுற்றுலாத்துறைக்குள் உள்வாங்குவதுடன் நிறுவிடாது, ஏற்றுமதித் துறைக்குள் கொண்டு செல்வதுமான எண்ணக்கருக்களையும் சுமந்து TDHAயின் தலைவர் Mr. Kumar Jeyakumaran அவர்களின் காட்சி விளக்கமும் வரவேற்கக் கூடியவையாகும். 

அவ்விடத்தில் உள்ளூர் உற்பத்தியாளர்களின் உற்பத்திகளை காட்சிப்படுத்தியிருந்தமையும் பெறுமதியானதாகும். உள்ளூர் உற்பத்திகள், பாரம்பரிய உற்பத்திகள், சமூகங்கள், உள்ளூர் நிறுவனங்கள் ஆகியவற்றின் ஒருங்கிசைவுடனேயே திருக்கோணமலை மாவட்டத்தின் சுற்றுலாத்துறையில் மேம்பாட்டைக் காணமுடியும் என்கின்ற பார்வை மிகவும் முற்போக்கானதாகும். 

அதேநேரம் நிகழ்வின் கருப்பொருளில் அடுத்துவரும் பலதசாப்தங்களில் திருக்கோணமலை மாவட்டத்தின் வளர்ச்சி பற்றிய கனவு வேர்விட்டிருக்கின்றது. அது கிளைபரப்பி பெருவிருட்சமாக வளர, பாரம்பரிய சுவையுடன் மனம் குணம் மாறாத ஆரோக்கியமான வறுத்த சிவப்பரிசி மாவினை உற்பத்தி செய்யும் PA&Mills - Sawbagyam ஆகிய நாமும் துணை நிற்போம். சேர்ந்து பயணிக்க விருப்பமும் கொண்டுள்ளோம்.
